Salt Lake Stadium is the largest stadium in Asia, the Stadium covers an area of 76.40 acres (309,200 sqm.) Salt Lake Stadium inaugurated in January, 1984 hosts some of the renowned international events every year linked to variety of industries.

It is located strategically at the most happening part in the City of Kolkata adjoining Hotel Hyatt Regency – the venue of 4th Asian Mining Congress. It is situated approximately 10 km from the heart of the city, 16 km from the airport and 0 km from 4th Asian Mining Congress Venue.
