The Mining, Geological & Metallurgical Institute of India (MGMI)
One of the most eminent, professional and 103 years old Institute of its kind in Asia. The objective of the Institute is to promote “the study of all branches of mining methods and minerals occurrences in India, with a view to disseminating the information for facilitating the economic development of the mineral industries in the country”.
The Institute presently has around 2500 members serving the minerals industry and has diversified its valued activities in various fields. The institute is having its headquarters and one of its branch in Kolkata and 15 more branches situated in various parts of the country. |
